A total of 12,000 runners competed in the disciplines marathon, half marathon, short distance, handbike, walking and inline skating. After the race, the participants met again at the Wieland tent, were able to strengthen themselves, exchange experiences during the race or relax with a massage from our personal trainer. We congratulate all participants for their great performance and would like to thank all the hard-working helpers. Stay healthy! We are already looking forward to this sporting highlight in 2019!

Retirement - a new phase in life begins

Our active and former employees are part of Wieland's success story. As a thank-you for their commitment, employees who retire get a bell. It should be a thank-you and a small reminder of the time at Wieland and herald the beginning of a new phase of life.

The bells are manufactured by our apprentices. Our company founder Philipp Jakob Wieland took over his uncle's art and bell foundry in 1820. This marked the beginning of the development of the small Ulm-based company into one of the world's leading manufacturers of copper materials.
